For CRW, it is very important to be solid on your exits.  You want to exit stable, face into the wind and be prepared to deploy as soon as 2 seconds after exit.  Your delay time will be dependent on your position in the formation which we will cover in the dirt dive.

Practice your Exits

Both “hopping” and “floating” exits can work (as shown in this video).  The floating exit must be quick as our rigs typically aren't packed to withstand that much wind. Watching the plane as you fall away and deploy can help your stability and heading.  It is essential that you be clear of the aircraft before deployment.
