Build up the discipline of CRW through a group effort to bring more people into CRW, improving and spreading the knowledge of big-way CRW, and making positive contributions to our community while growing the future leadership of CRW and supporting each other along the way. But do it silly.

Community
When the Raw Dogs show up to organize at a boogie, we’re all in as a group, whatever is needed. As Raw Dogs we keep our eyes open to what’s happening in the community, and when help is needed, we're there for it, and not just for each other. We also try to make everything we do as silly as it can be - to the point of absurdity - but always respectful of our values
Humility
We can never assume to know it all, to have it all figured out, or to try and lead others with our ego. A Raw Dog is constantly learning, willing to grow in their skills, and to listen to any point of view. A Raw Dog never considers themselves to be beyond reproach in anything in the air or on the ground. We tell ourselves this, if we want to grow CRW, and every word is important: We Must Earn the Privilege to Lead Volunteers
Diversity and Inclusion
CRW is a very inclusive community, and we strive as Raw Dogs to be welcoming to the whole of the skydiving community around us, to always be respectful of our fellow skydivers, and to be inclusive of anyone with an interest in CRW. We will always do our part to welcome diversity in our discipline and skydiving in general
Dependability
As Raw Dogs, we show up when we say we’ll be there. Recreational skydiving is an entirely voluntary activity, and skydivers have all the choice in the world to do what they want with their time and energy. As Raw Dogs we will be reliable in what we offer to our fellow skydivers
Integrity and Safety
We cannot use the word Safe. We are voluntarily jumping out of airplanes and using our life-saving equipment for our funsies. But as Raw Dogs we will do everything in our ability to mitigate risk, to promote a fully-informed consent in all activities in which we lead others, and to put safety ahead of all other considerations with those we teach. We commit to not compromising safety to accelerate a result, and to hold each other accountable ... especially when no one else around us is able
A Service Organization,
Not a Numbers Society
​There are many “numbers societies” in skydiving. Get a number because you did something particular on a skydive based on that group's styling. Muff brothers, Freak Brothers, Sons of Bacon, Flying Hellfish. Basically anyone can do the prescribed thing and get the next number.
The Raw Dogs is not a numbers society of skydivers, do a funny dance and get the next number. The Raw Dogs is a community on a mission. Join us, demonstrate the values we want to put into the community, and you’ve made yourself a Raw Dog, we can’t do it for you. Not everyone has to be a Raw Dog, and not everyone wants to be on a mission in skydiving. We aspire to be a group of humble servant leaders in skydiving, to lift each other and our fellow CRW dogs up, not honor ourselves.
CRW does tend to draw in people that are willing to go out of their way and out of their comfort zone into the wider world of skydiving. If you intend to get into this discipline, chances are pretty good you will need to travel and work to make CRW happen in your skydiving. If you pursue CRW, and join us on this mission, we will see you and recognize you as one of us. We can’t make you a Raw Dog, only you can do that by being one.
